For years, UBC held pot-luck dinners on Wednesday afternoons before prayer meeting.  As times changed and more women went to work, it became difficult to support the home-made pot luck dinner.  This trend manifested itself by having a higher proportion of fast food versus home-made dishes.  It just became too difficult to get home, prepare something and get back to church in time.

The solution?  The Prepared Meal.  Fern (our excellent cook) prepares an evening meal during the day Wednesday, and that meal is served by volunteers between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.  That way, it is possible to simply leave work and go straight to the church, saving time (and fuel).

If you would like to participate in the Prepared Meal on Wednesday nights, just let Marguerite know, so that enough food can be prepared for you and your family.

Prices for 2010 - 2011:

Preschoolers -- $1.00 (kindergarten and younger)
Child (under 12) -- $3.00
Adult -- $4.50
Senior -- $3.50
Family -- $12.00 (regardless of family size)

Pizza option:
How it works:  Each child (under 12) may have up to 3 pieces of pizza.  Youth may have 4 pieces.  The pizza menu will include salad (if desired), dessert & drink.

Each family will need to decide which plan each member wants, and any changes from the standing reservation list must be made by noon on Tuesday.  Changes may be phoned in, e-mailed to Marguerite, or jotted on a form (available on the table in the foyer).
