We are fortunate to have Dr. Mack Roark currently serving as our Interim Pastor (as of November, 13, 2011). Dr. Roark is highly regarded in Baptist life as a pastor, teacher, scholar and statesman. Retired from OBU where he is professor emeritus of Greek and New Testament, Dr. Roark also served as the Vice President for Religious life for more than a decade. He also served as Southwestern Baptist Seminary’s Study Center Director at OBU where he also taught Greek and Textual Criticism. Dr.Roark and his wife, Sandy, have three children and eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
