Welcome Friends!

Can I tell you a story?

Bob Searl, PastorThe summer before my junior year in high school I traveled by rented school bus to camp in North Carolina with the youth group of the Midvale Baptist Church of Madison, Wisconsin. I didn't go on the trip because I had great friends in the group. In fact, I didn't even know the kids because I hadn't spent much time with the group before the big bus trip. I went because I wanted to spend some time in the mountains.

The mountains were beautiful, but they were not the best part of the trip. I was surprised by God there; my relationship with him was renewed, refreshed and changed forever. I discovered a new group of friends, a true community of faith where I was loved, accepted, and challenged to grow and serve.

I'm excited that you are considering spending some time with us at University Baptist Church. As you share your story with us and we share ours with you, I'm confident that in us you will find a community of faith where you are loved, accepted and challenged to grow. UBC is a place where you can stretch your wings and develop the gifts God has given you. Even more, I hope you will surprised by God's presence in our midst, and that your relationship with him will be renewed and refreshed.

Here's looking forward to hearing your story!

Bob Searl, pastor
