We are a New Testament church that is committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the teachings of Scripture.

We cherish the Baptist principles of the priesthood of the believer, congregational church government, and the separation of church and state. We strive to be an accepting, caring, redemptive fellowship of a diverse body of baptized believers. Our purpose is to help all people find authentic life as Christ’s disciples.

 

We are committed to

  • reaching our neighborhood, community, and world through proclaiming the Gospel

  • cultivating opportunities for meaningful worship, prayer and Bible study

  • ministering to the needs of people through tangible expressions of Christian love

 

Membership in the church comes by

  • Profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and being baptized by immersion 

  • Transfer of membership from another Baptist Church 

  • Verbal statement that you have been baptized by immersion as a result of salvation 

  • Watchcare – you retain your membership in your home church but you unite with us for a period of time—college students, military personnel and others often find this type of membership beneficial.
